“In prayer we meet Christ, and in him all human suffering.  In service we meet people, and in them the suffering Christ.”

INTRODUCTION

I’ve felt rather hesitant about starting a blog for others to read. This road of experiences and continual learning, on which I am a traveler, is always shaping and reshaping how I view myself, the world, and God, as well as the subsequent implications for how each interacts with the other. If I claim to discover something today, most likely, tomorrow I will alter my interpretation or view on that subject. It is with the acknowledgment of this never-ending path of discovery that I write this blog.

My intention is not to document truth for my self and others, but to ask questions and propose tentative interpretations, based on my learning experiences, which move toward growth and deeper understanding of questions that will always linger over our small, finite minds. This blog may be seen as a place of learning, where ideas are drafted and experiences are shared for the sake of deeper thinking, reflecting and dialogue. My hope is that this will be a platform where authentic expression, curious questioning, positive critique and growth can transpire. In addition, those scattered around the globe may find this blog helpful for keeping tabs on my journey of experiences and learning, as well as my unceasing struggle to make sense of it all. I invite you to reflect with me on this journey.
